Bearmach Ltd is a major national supplier and worldwide exporter of branded automotive spares. As part of a re-organisation of the warehouse, a new mezzanine floor was installed to create 200m2 of new floorspace. The work involved removal of existing lighting and power supplies, and installing new warehouse lighting using highly efficient T5 fluorescent fittings with rack reflectors and 250w low bay HQI fittings. The linear lighting is controlled by PIR occupancy sensors that automatically switch off to save energy. This has helped Bearmach reduce its energy consumption and work towards its overall carbon reduction goal. We also installed new data cabling, small power and three phase supplies to bailing machines and conveyors.
